CGU, CMOS and JPdL International commit themselves to respect the confidentiality of participants’ information for the 27th IUGG General Assembly.
Personal information is data that identifies you. Below you will find an overview of how your personal information will be processed when you complete the online registration form.

Personal data is any information that directly or indirectly identifies a person. For example, if you fill out a form or survey or request information, we collect your name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number and email address.

Personal data is required for your participation, further coordination and to keep a record of your relationship with us. The personal data provided enables us to understand how we can improve our services. We use personal data to complete payment transactions and to provide payment-related services for our events. We also use personal data to comply with our financial, regulatory and other legal obligations, and to pursue our legitimate business interests.
Who is the data communicated to?
Personal data may be disclosed to reliable partners that provide us with administrative or technical support, ensure marketing business activity for us, or with other reliable partners helping us to organize the event. We may also communicate personal data to financial institutions in order to process your event registration fees, or with accommodation providers in order to ensure your appropriate accommodations during your stay. We do not share, sell or exchange information with third parties for promotional purposes.
How long do we keep the data?
Personal data will be processed for the period necessary as required by law for company auditing and financial purposes.
How is the data protected?
We make every reasonable efforts to ensure an appropriate level of security. We enact regular maintenance and technical vigilance to protect personal data. Our network is protected and routinely monitored. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Personal data is only accessible to a limited number of personnel including appropriately trained staff and contractors.
