Dear Authors,

 

The following guidelines will help you prepare your poster presentation. Please take a few minutes to read them carefully before coming to the 27th IUGG General Assembly.

 

A) Scientific Programme Onsite Information

 

Please note that there will be an IUGG desk located in the registration area in order to assist you with any questions related to the scientific programme. The information desk will be open within the registration hours:

B) Poster Presentations

French and English are the official languages of the 27th IUGG General Assembly.

Posters will be displayed during the poster sessions, each day from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Each poster will be displayed for two days.

Authors are expected to stand by their poster during their poster sessions (indicated in the final programme, on the website, on the mobile app, and in the Scientific Personal Schedule available online).

 

The poster area will be located in room 220 DE, 2nd floor. If you need any assistance, please go to the poster information desk located in the poster area. Opening hours are as follows:

Poster dimensions:

Please note that the maximum dimensions of your poster are: 90 x 45 inches or 228 x 114 cm (landscape orientation). Thus, design your poster accordingly and do not exceed the size indicated. We recommend a thicker paper or cardboard.

 

A number will be assigned to each poster board. Please, verify that you mount your poster on the correct poster board (check that the poster board’s number corresponds to your poster presentation’s number). You can find your poster presentation number in your Personal Scientific Schedule or in the Poster Sessions in Detail Overview.

 

Onsite assistance and proper fixing material will be provided in order to facilitate the mounting of your poster.

 

Mounting / Removing:

Note that your poster should be mounted before the beginning of the first poster session. It should be removed by the end of the last poster session of the corresponding symposium. All posters that are not removed on time will be taken down and discarded. To know your poster session, please check on the website.

 

If you have any questions on-site regarding the Scientific Programme, please contact the IUGG desk located in the registration area in the Foyer Hall Viger- level 2.

Send an email with the PDF file to be printed at . Reconfirm with them before any printing.  In case of emergency, the printing can be provided in the morning and print copy can be ready in the afternoon.  Please reconfirm the fee for the same day printing.

Regular rate for printing will take maximum 3 days. We recommend that all documents be sent in advance.
